Here is information on how to enter a BNMC event and helps ensure your Rally Entry.  Caroline Wellings is looking after all the hotel and Club Services bookings.

Summer Rally

Autumn Rally

Friday September 20th – Monday September 23rd 2019

The Webbington Hotel, Nr Axbridge BS26 2HU



Our three annual rallies have the twin aims of giving you the opportunity to meet fellow Club Members and to drive your cars on roads and routes specially selected to suit vintage Morris cars.  The rallies are based at a Hotel, for Dinner, Bed & Breakfast for 2 or 3 nights: most people stay for the three nights, Fri- Sun inclusive, to take maximum advantage of contact with fellow Club Members. Rooms are allocated on a first come first served basis.  You can take part in the Rally whether you are staying in the Hotel or not, but this is an excellent way of using your Morris in the company of some experienced drivers as well as those who know an awful lot about maintaining their cars. The routes are chosen by local people as being particularly appropriate to our cars and leisure driving.  You can drive your Morris to the event or bring it on a trailer.


To enter each event, you fill in all the information requested on the appropriate Rally Entry Form, and send it to Caroline together with a BNMC cheque for the Club Services, and if applicable a separate cheque for the Hotel to reserve your accommodation. Please do not send one cheque to cover more than one event, as this gives the Club Officers extra accounting work to do, which we do not want.  Please check the Form is fully completed and everything signed before sending it to us; this includes full details of your Morris, otherwise your Forms will be returned to you.  


To be fair to everyone, all Entries are dated and numbered on receipt; places on the Rallies are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Only completed Entries are accepted into the ‘system’. Places on our rallies are limited, so our rallies are for Club Members and their immediate families only.


If you wish to bring a friend in your car with you, please contact me first to check on availability of accommodation.  


Because of the volume of people, everything during the Rally is pre-booked and paid for. It is not possible to turn up at an event expecting to take part: for insurance as well as practical administrative reasons, you have to enter an event in the usual way, the same as all other clubs have to do, and we want to ensure everyone can enjoy the experience.


Once again this year, we have asked for your email address, which will be used to contact you on routine matters, instead of posting a letter.  If you require contact by post, it would be nice if you enclosed with your Entry Form stamps to cover the postage costs.


We do expect the rallies as usual to fill up well before the closing date, so although we have a closing date of February 16th you might be able to enter – contact Caroline.
